Jane Hodgson

Jane is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, specialising in the treatment of complex musculoskeletal injuries requiring a more thorough assessment and management. Combining up-to-date exercise rehabilitation and manual therapy treatment techniques, Jane achieves outstanding results. With over 19 years experience and working closely with Medical Specialists, GPs, Allied Health Practitioners and Therapists, Jane strives for faster, more effective rehabilitation.

Jane has a background in rehabilitation, as well as vast experience in “on field” sports injury management over a variety of sports. Jane maintains an interest in soccer, swimming and running. Joining Therapy Max in 2002, Jane now leads The Therapy Max Team.

Katrina Purdon

Katrina has 15 years Physiotherapy experience. Since joining Therapy Max in 2010, she has built a very strong rapport with local GPs, specialists and our clients. She instructs our Fit Backs Mat and Equipment Pilates classes including our prenatal pilates class.

Katrina achieves outstanding results with lower limb injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation, treatment of neck and back pain & women’s health issues. Whilst Katrina has strong hydrotherapy skills, her focus on core strength and her experience with both mat & equipment pilates has allowed clients to progress out of the pool towards recovery sooner.  Combining this specialist exercise prescription with effective hands-on treatment and nutrition advice improves wellbeing via several channels and achieves amazing long term results for her clients.

Daniel Tait

Daniel studied Physiotherapy in The Netherlands and is also a qualified massage therapist. More recently he has undertaken professional development in Pilates and personal training and is a valued member of the Therapy Max team.

Daniel is dedicated to achieving clients’ goals through addressing symptoms and the underlying causes to injury; including flexibility, core & postural control, overall strength and stability. He has experience in weekend sports coverage, kinesio-taping, gait analysis, running assessments and will uses his knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics to assist you return to sports participation and the workplace after injury.

Alla Melman

Alla combines her advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics & injury management to achieve outstanding results for her clients. She provides rehabilitative exercise as a home or gym program, and closer supervision with hydrotherapy and clinical Pilates sessions. Alla’s key interests are in post-surgical rehabilitation, the lower limb, neck and back pain, and women’s health.

She has experience in POWH & Eastern Suburbs Private Hospital in rehabilitation of post-surgical, orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory and neurological conditions, surgical oncology & spinal cord injuries.  She is currently studying a Masters of Science in Medicine (Pain Management) which has helped in dealing with management of complex persistent pain conditions and with chronic disease management.
